Our client is a B2B healthcare company that assists businesses in organizing their vast amounts of data and offers insightful advice for improving the decision-making process.

Upon commencement of the project, the Agiliway team encountered an existing state of the project. The client platform analyzes medical data and health insurance pricing, aiding in the process of selecting health insurance providers and managing medical claims. However, the solution necessitated the upgrade of obsolete technology and lacked many of the capabilities desired by the customer.

Solutions to Project Difficulties

The following adjustments were performed to upgrade the client’s three programs:

• Fixed a major front-end architectural flaw.

When Agiliway began working on the project, a significant amount of data processing logic was transferred to the front end, which was an architecture error. The back-end ought to contain plenty of data. Additionally, architectural solutions were written incorrectly. The problem was fixed by adjusting the site’s architecture so that related information could constantly be presented on the same page.

• Improved the apps’ database performance.

The developers used many indexing and data-restructuring services to get it to its optimal state. Since all the information was loaded at once when opening the website, starting the program took quite some time. By rewriting when and what data should be loaded, the Agiliway development team was able to speed up page loads.

It was created using a JSON Web Token, and it may be used in both the front and back ends. Originally written in AngularJS, our team completely rebuilt it in Angular. For the safest login, we employ SSO and multi-factor authentication.

• Followed proper PHI protocol.

Since the team is familiar with the US compliance requirements for handling PHI, all new features have been developed with the highest levels of security in mind.

• Created a local setup near the production area to cut down on mistakes.

The Tilt and Kubernetes technologies were used to make our local configuration like the production environment as possible and reduce the number of mistakes. It facilitates the administration of local environment settings for our services. Docker containers are used in both our development and production environments; however, the databases that each container uses are distinct.

• Cut down on the number of engineers that make reports, infographics, and products.
