During the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) phase, we focused on creating features such as commands, document manipulations, system updates, notifications, log-in functionality, user tracking, and installations for system performance optimization.

The step-by-step process involves giving commands to the application (create a new file/open file/edit file, etc.), creating an audio file, connecting to web sockets, transferring the audio file, receiving a text version of the audio through the client’s API, and following the given commands.

Healthcare AI

One of the features that has proved to be quite exciting for the users is manipulating documents through voice commands. Healthcare practitioners can use their voice to browse through the patient’s medical records to quickly find the necessary information, edit the documentation, remove unnecessary details, etc.

The solution adds flexibility to everyday operations in clinics, medical centers, or for individual practitioners. With online consultations at their peak, information is recorded immediately, enabling instant documentation of examinations, diagnostic details, and recommendations during appointments.

Voice-to-Text Translation Platform

This ongoing project is a Voice-to-Text translation platform that includes voice recognition and converting audio into texts. While supporting one language, the architecture is designed to accommodate adding more languages in the future.

The main features and components of the suggested solution are

  • Voice Recognition: the system recognizes audio voices and translates them into text
  • Language Model: based on the recognized speech and/or commands the text is delivered
  • User Interface: users can interact with the platform, providing input files, receiving output text, and training the platform
  • Live Transcribing: The next step involves adding the live transcribing feature to the platform. The system learns from transcribed files in a given language and is taught to further recognize speech automatically.

The platform utilizes C#, web sockets for persistent connections between a client and a server, WPF for developing the client app and working with UI and documents, Windows API for tracking user behavior, and Word Interop to manipulate different document types such as Excel or MS Word.
